John founded Engage Performance to focus on his passion for helping visionary business leaders to unleash the potential in their people through engaging them fully in improving performance and reaping the dramatic operational and financial benefits this delivers.
He firmly believes that, to be successful and sustained, any major change has to be led, owned and delivered by the people within the organisation.
Unleashing the latent potential in every person in an organisation – from those who directly impact the everyday Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost – to the CEO – is what gets him out of bed in the morning and keeps him in this career despite occasionally getting stranded at airports!
Outside of work John enjoys the great outdoors and spending time with his family.
Ed Burns – Associate Director
In addition to leading major consulting engagements, Ed is Engage Performance’s Visual Management and Operational Analytics expert.
He has extensive experience of designing and implementing simple yet highly effective systems to engage all operational personnel in high-value-added continuous improvement activities by ensuring they have the necessary information immediately available to enable them to prioritise their time and ensure they are working on the biggest levers of performance – be that Safety, Quality, Delivery or Cost.
Outside of work Ed enjoys cooking, renovating interesting buildings and skiing.
